SYSTEMS & DESIGN

I am passionate about informing my community about emerging technologies, connecting them to digital and physical collections, and preserving those collections for the future by using digital preservation and quality metadata.

CONNECTING TO COLLECTIONS

Creating responsive, user-friendly digital collection platforms to engage users and patrons.

As a certified (SAA) Digital Archives Specialist, my systems and design skills include but are not limited to; website, mobile application, and audio tour design, launch and maintenance; technical writing for protocol and maintenance of all projects created; Creating, directing and editing audio and video productions to market collections or inform users through instruction; Creating and editing workflow processes for accessioning, inventory and digitization of archival collections; Digitization and reformatting of analog records, audio and obsolete media; and ingestion and management of digital assets in a variety of formats using various DAM systems and metadata schema.

1/4th of the workflow I worked on in Visio for the Library of Congress, Preservation and Reformatting Division.
