At the end of each academic semester, the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, Sinclair Library partners with the Student Success Center with the aim of creating a productive, stress-free study atmosphere during the busiest weeks of the semester – Finals Week.
The reference team at Sinclair wants students to know that we are there to help, so extended references services are offered from 7:00pm-9:00pm on multiple floors of the library. In the most recent study nights events, Sinclair Library has provided free food, coffee from the Curb and also therapy dogs to help alleviate students’ stress.
Each semester, I volunteer my time at Sinclair to help students find materials and use it as an opportunity to practice my reference skills. During the Fall 2013 semester, I will be available at Sinclair Library from December 9 – 11th and again on December 13th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm for your reference assistance.
I hope to see you there!
