Creating and Editing LibGuides for College Students

As an Adjunct Librarian at a local community college I am responsible for editing and creating subject and library literacy LibGuides which are made available through the library website. Below are a few examples of what I have been working on this week. Please feel free to share them with your students, faculty and staff! More guides will be posted soon.

This LibGuide is geared toward academic students seeking information on how to locate academic articles using library resources, how to identify a reliable resource, a listing of databases, information on how to access on campus and remotely and search strategies. Check it out!

This guide is geared toward academic students who need help finding reliable resources to start their research process on historical topics. Check it out!

This guide was created to serve as a starting point for research related to Human Development. It describes and provides links to numerous IVC Library resources and additional online content containing child development research.  Check it out!
