Kimberly Jackson, archivist and librarian working in collections and organizations throughout Southern California.
In 2015, I graduated with honors from the University of Hawai’i where I earned an MLISc focusing in Archives and Special Collections. Additionally, I hold a Graduate Certificate in Historic Preservation, a B.A. in Anthropology, an A.A. in Humanities & Liberal Arts and I am a certified Digital Archives Specialist.
I am currently working as a General Librarian in a public library system where I also assist as an archivist, processing historic collections which, includes newspapers, photographs, artifacts, art, oversized collections, scrapbooks, government publications and more.
Additionally, I work as an Adjunct Librarian at local community colleges where I provide reference assistance and instruction to the community college study body, staff and faculty.
